Toxic
Behaviour
Looking at different materials made by humans, the one ubiquitous material used today is plastic. We see the different materials use e.g. in buildings, farming but only talk about packaging. In reality we are surrounded by it everywhere. It is addictive as it is effective, economical and it gives us what we need. However digging up the ugly truth it reveals the toxicity of plastics and the damages it causes to the environment, wildlife and to our own health.
Toxic Behaviour gives a dynamic visual language which showcases the behaviours and impacts of different plastic materials through an educational approach. The issues raised are explored in depth and designed through a series of design outcomes.

Animated GIFS
The following animations represent the transition of how a piece of plastic looks like in its ‘normal’ shape to what it actually looks like once you look closer. Along with this, the information given reveals what you are looking at. It represent the full name of that specific type of plastic and the equal symbol tells what it does to your body.

Posters
These are few of the posters which represents how the toxic chemicals of plastics impacts our world in many ways e.g. how plastic pollutes our oceans and if we don't stop it, it will be our ‘last ocean’. Every poster follows the same concept of typing plastic, where it's highlighted inside the word P(LAST)IC. Plastic = Last.
